OMG, Bones. Now I'm gonna be thinking about that mist of peepee when I flush the toilet. AND, I didn't hate Hannah before -- now she practically stole Brennan's sunglasses. No like.

Some short stuff about Fringe.

Joshua and Matthew / AltLivia and Olivia
Four years ago Joshua, who was utilizing a technique similar to Jones’ men back in season one to ‘walk through walls’, was in the midst of robbing a bank when, unbeknownst to him, his brother Mathew had come to stop him. Joshua’s equipment, however, caused the bank to be Ambered and his brother was caught inside, wrongfully identified as Joshua. Since then, Joshua has been living Mathew’s life and researching a way to remove his brother from Amber 31422 - despite the DOD’s insistence that everyone locked in Amber is ‘dead’.

By episode’s end, Joshua - knowing his brother would be taken away from his wife and sons because of his survival after being removed from the Amber - staged another bank robbery in order to encase himself in Amber. And the only person capable of identifying Matthew as the man who’d been taken from the Amber, Olivia Dunham, chose not to pursue his capture in order to allow Matthew to live out his correct life because - as her vision of Peter asserted for her - Olivia understands his story because she herself has been switched and trapped and just wants to go back to her life.

And this is why I prefer the ‘Over There’ stories more than the ‘Over Here’ ones. While our universe is piecing together some puzzle; their universe is piecing together a person - Olivia - and until Olivia has all her pieces in the right places, our universe will never be able to solve their mess of a jigsaw because they’re missing one of the most important pieces.

Olivia and Olivia
Here’s the strange thing you might not want to consider: in the ‘Over There’ episodes, Peter isn’t PETER. Peter is a comfortable manifestation of Olivia’s mind, speaking Olivia’s thoughts and memories, so even though it looks like Peter, it’s actually Inner Olivia - the one who’s trapped behind AltLivia’s memories. (So yeah, when Olivia kisses Peter, she’s actually kissing herself.)

Like Matthew trapped in the amber, Olivia is trapped in her own mind in the other universe, reliving her last memories over and over: I have to go home. Once freed, via the Sensory Deprivation Tank’s aiding in Olivia’s ability to “find the crack” that already exists between the memories that were ‘uploaded’ and the ones that were part of Olivia’s original hardware, Olivia would then be tasked with figuring out how to get home.

This hinges on her needing to understand what drives her power (basically - heightened emotions) and then how to control this power so that she can complete the journey as this episode seemed to imply only a PART of her merged over before it was pulled back as she was yanked from the tank. And after two glass snow-globe breaking incidents (one that poor Cameron will surely be blamed for despite his claims that "a soaking wet half naked woman did it!"), is it possible the store owner will submit this video to police, who will then identify Olivia Dunham as the culprit and want to question her?

Others Things
Foreshadowing - Given that Mathew and Joshua's story is similar to Olivia and AltLivia, might we be looking at some sort of foreshadowing of how the end will come about? That AltLivia, after allowing herself to become emotionally attached to the Other Side version of things - after seeing that it's not as evil as Walternate has professed, might sacrifice herself in some way to save Olivia?

First Amber Event was October 17th, 1989, just a few days after Olivia turned 10, which would have been right around the time she shot her stepfather three times.

Cortexiphan - Keep pissin’ it off with psychotropics and you might just watch your lab burn down.

We Will Never Forget - An amazing moment. Also, how perfect an analogy for Olivia’s state of mind and her project of Peter’s constant reminder - You Can’t Forget; It’s a Part of You.

Team Fringe - This is going to be the hardest part about Olivia returning and I'm sure that's part of the point of this going on so long -- eventually we'll lost Lincoln and Charlie.

Revelation 3:14-22 (New King James Version)
14 “And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, ‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: 15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’-and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked- 18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. 21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. 22 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”’”
Could mean nothing, but it was interestingly the only thing of note when I Googled '31422'
