Went to the mall yesterday with the hopes of scoring the Speed Racer soundtrack, found a Dunder Mifflin shirt instead and as I was conversing with the sorta cute guy behind the register (because my 'FIU Golden Panther' credit card always gets the attention of the young counter people) and expressing my frustration that my education got short-changed because at the time they were starting up the football team, he declared, "OMG, the football team SUCKS!"
Mom strolls up and shouts, "WHO SUCKS?" Because she assumes he's talking about the Miami Dolphins. She proceeds to butt into the conversation to start a whole NEW one about how Dancing with the Stars was rigged because Skater girl SO had an unfair advantage and they just wanted a girl to win and by the end the guy is just staring at me and I'm just staring at him and mom's like, "Oh hey, there's your father, let's go."
