70th Annual Golden Globes
I watched the Golden Globes last night and I just need to take this moment to shout out to my old crush Ben Affleck. He and Jennifer Garner looked stunning together on the red carpet and then for him to win Best Director and Best Picture for Argo was just icing on the cake. Not to mention his acceptance speech, goodness! I actually teared up. And he got a standing ovation from the entire audience! You've come a long way, baby, and it's so good to see you back on top again.
This was seriously one of the best awards shows I've seen in a long time. Other highlights: Tina Fey and Amy Poehler as hosts. They need to hire these magnificently funny ladies to host every awards show ever. Jodie Foster's speech made me cry. Almost everyone looked amazing. The dresses a lot of the stars chose for this season were absolutely gorgeous. All in all, it was a great show and I'm glad I watched it. And this is coming from someone who doesn't watch a lot of TV.
