Ok,,its seems things have settled down alil at work. Most of the regulars with less than twenty years in have been scattered to the other dock and on different shifts.
For me,,that means lower ranking union members are now on my dock,,and some skinny lil kid no older than 30 had to claim my forklift. We got into a tiny lil discussion over who was going to have it,,but when he said he would just ask the union steward to settle it,,I politely told him he could have it.
Also,,they changed my schedule,,,again. For right now Im still on 8 to 4,,but my days off are now Monday and Tuesday. It was that or Tuesday and Thursday,,yeah.
So,,for right now,,untill they feel like changing it again,,my shift is set. Untill one of these dumb-ass dock foremen get another bug up their ass! I have never worked for a company that had so many bosses who acted like old women before in my life. These guys out here who are doing all this make my bosses in the military look like geniuses.
Sad thing too,,cuz the job itself is great. I guess its a microcosm of life,,its always the few who fuck it up for everybody.
