Well I've just finished reading Revenge of the Sith, the book....
Ok the book left me deeply depressed. The entire reason for Anakin's fall to the darkside is his desire to save Padme, who he saw, in a vision, dying in childbirth. The Emperor, who will from hence be known as THE Bastard, uses the most deceptive words and actions to bring Anakin to the darkside. He even convinces Anakin that the Jedi are the enemies of the republic. After I finished the book I was deeply, deeply saddened. Anakin's main motivation is his love for his woman, and in the end that causes his decent to the dark suit. THE Bastard plays a masterful role in designing the downfall of the republic. You know a book is good when you find yourself rooting for a love you know is doomed to fail and hating a man you know is going to win. All in all I can't wait for the movie just so I can see what I read. I do have to give the book major points over the movie, without even seeing it, because in the movie you can't hear the thoughts of Anakin, you can't hear his fears which are the cause of his downfull. I would recommend the book to anyone, even those who aren't massive fans of the Star Wars series, just becase the novel is heartbreaking and emotionally provoking.
Why is it that women have the power to drive all men to insanity? It's all throughout history, wars have been faught because of women. Even in the a fictitious story, the love for a woman drives a man to kill all his friends in order to gain the power to save her. Do you women know you have this power? Do you use it? It's quite frightening when you really think about it. I've seen a woman cause best friends to try and kill each other. And what's wierd is that I love women. The female sex is the most beautiful thing on this planet, and apparently, as far as Star Wars is concerned, the most beautiful thing in the galaxy.
Poor poor Anakin, he never stood a chance.
That's all I have for today.
Ta' all.
