Born on a Monday
HE ASKED ME IF I WAS BORN ON A MONDAY.
A MAN WALKED IN to the starbucks I work at on the weekends. He was on crutches and looked disheveled. He wore a blue button up shirt and the two middle buttons weren't buttoned at all. He asked me to get change out of his shirt pocket since he couldn't move his arms. there was no change in his pocket.
He asked me if I was born on a monday. I told him I didn't know. he asked me my birthdate and I told him.
"Yup, you were born on a Monday," he said. "See for yourself."
He handed me a folded up piece of paper with years with numbers next to them that corresponded to different calendars- I was born on a Monday.
"I could tell by your personality... you are caring and giving."
A coworker gave him his latte. "You were born on a Wednesday," he said to her; he was right.
Then, he left.

Wednesday we leave for Bonnaroo. I can't wait.
