Whew! It's been a long time since I've updated this thing. College sucks...LOL!
Just a few comments about the NEXTEL CUP awards banquet last friday...
Allen Bestwick: Please don't leave us...
Bill Webber: Stick to your day job! Actually...don't.
Jay Mohr: Cracked me up! Good job!
Scott "Jesus" Stapp: You annoy the piss out of me. Go away you Jesus wannabe!
Brian McKnight: Great voice. Loved the song. Sort of made up for Stapp...sort of...
Kasey Kahne: Poor thing. Looked so nervous up there. I just wanted to hug him, and squeeze him, and pet him, and love him, and...well, you get the idea...
Jamie McMurray: He said he wasn't trying to be funny. Well then Jamie, you are officially the most unintentionally funny person I've ever seen.
Jeremy Mayfield: Don't remember a darned thing. His wife Shana looked beautiful though.
Elliott Sadler: Glad he finally got a hair cut! Looked snazzy!
Matt Kenseth: It's no secret that I love my Matty K. You can do no wrong in my eyes.
Ryan Newman: Wait..Was he there?
Tony Stewart: Love me some Tony Stewart. Good speech, and he looked good(minus the "v")
Dale Jr: Love that man! He was the highlight of the night for me. Then again, he always is...
Mark Martin: God a bit teary-eyed during his speech. Can't believe last year might be his last one. Would love to see him go out on top. Hands down one of the classiest men to ever set foot in NASCAR.
Jeff Gordon: What a trooper. Not going to start cheering for him on Sunday, but I'm warming up to the guy.
Jimmie Johnson: I don't care how your wife pronounces her damn name. Get her to eat a freakin' bagel or something! Come to think of it, why don't you join her?
Jack Roush: Looks so strange without that hat.
Kurt Busch: Only listened for 10 seconds of him before I got skeeved out. But congrats none the less.
And I know that some people are saying that the "sermon" was completely uncalled for. But I didn't mind one bit. They day they take God out of Nascar, they can count me out as well!
Well...that's all I have to say about that!
