Schedule Dilemma

Oh shiznit . . .

So, the way things are going, I'm thinking of just forgoing Symphonic Band. It's screwed up my Spring schedule so much that there's no way to remedy it other than take a crap load of online classes (which wouldn't help my procrastinating nature), or just drop the class. I feel bad, because I've been taking lessons all semester and I can tell that I'm improving a ton, but it's just ruining my other plans. And even if I was good enough for Wind Symphony, it would still get in the way of my Health Sciences 300 class.

I dunno . . . I basically now have to choose between band and one of my minor core classes. I know that Health Sciences should be taking the priority, but I really don't want to have to opt out of band class altogether. I also really really don't want to be in Collegiate Band again. Not to sound snobby, but I think I'm getting too good for Collegiate Band. It just wouldn't challenge me. At least I would still be playing . . .

This must be a continual sign that I wasn't meant to be a Music Major, or have any career in music. All throughout High School I was making choices between band and my other classes. Why does it always have to get in the way??

Any opinions or suggestions???
