To Boldy Go
So we saw Star Trek Into Darkness. I tend to see only about one movie in theaters every year and this was a good one to fit the role (Though presumably we'll see the Hobbit Part 2 this winter.) I enjoyed the movie, the trick is that you just have to think of it being Star Trek-flavored Space Adventure Show instead of honest Star Trek. I found the last movie somewhat depressing, but this one got over that. If you liked the last one, this one will be great. But if the last one's re-imagining of Trek canon really bothers you, this one will piss you off pretty bad. We're even tempted to see it again, but I think I'll wait for the DVD... I want to nerd out a little and study the ship models and stuff :P
On an unrelated note, can anybody help me get Only Teardrops by Emmelie de Forest from Eurovision? For whatever reason, it's not available in the US except for bad covers of it. (Although the one from "Songcontest 2013 makes me laugh.) I try to purchase and download music legally as often as I can, and I don't understand why the music industry would want to get in the way of that. If you can't download it legally, you end up downloading it illegally, and then they don't get any money at all. :p
Alright, I'm going to try to dump my commissions binge. It all stems from my somewhat lackluster birthday back in March so I decided to treat myself. :p

I redesigned Artreus' markings and have been trying them out as often as I can. They seem to be working out well (His last look was inspired by a glass sculpture and they didn't end up fitting me well) So I expect to be seeing more of him in the future.
