So, my flight left last night and I skipped out! I guess I kind of knew I wasn't going to go about a week or so ago, but the last couple days I had to take a good hard look and make sure there was no one I absolutely HAD to meet with. This is a good time to take time off. No one in England will be in their offices as they'll all be at the show, and I don't have to be in my office.
Oh yeah, speaking of which - DON'T tell work - they think I'm in England and I plan on keeping it that way (right up until Karma bites me in the ass and I show up in a hospital or on the 6pm news).
I also told band that I wouldn't be at rehersal this Tuesday. Therefore, don't tell band members that I'm NOT in England (that includes the band members on this site... shhhhhhh... don't tell the other band members! And for goddess sake don't tell Judy - she'll hound me until I do show up on Tuesday!)
I just need some me time. I need to figure some things out. I need to kick back, work on crafts, play games and sleep. Unfortunately, I may not get much of that if J doesn't start taking shifts instead of riding the board (he hasn't worked since Tuesday, but he still gets paid - it's a railroad thing).
I think I'll go tear apart my closet now - it's a rebuild type project. We'll see how far I get! *grin*
