Manga: There's an app for that
Viz announces a free iPad app that allows you to read its manga. A digital copy of a tankoubon will be $5 - half the street-value of most physical copies.
The series available right now are shounen, but it sounds like Vampire Knight and Ouran High School Host Club are in the works.
I don't own an iPad, but I'm glad to see U.S. publishers taking this step - digital manga piracy is rampant, and providing alternatives can only help the industry.
