LEGEND OF THE SEEKR ICONS and season spoiler!
Legend of the Seeker. Horribly epic fail of a show. The only reason I watched it after the first episode was because of Bridget Regan aka Kahlan Amnell. She's such an awesome Kahlan. She was pretty enough (and lets face it, in the books we can't be told enough how freakin gorgeous Kahlan is...) and she even had that 'special smile' down pat every time she looked at Richard (Craig Horner).
So after not watching it for a while, because really, that shows just kills my brain cells.....I somehow caught the season finale, and in it (surprise, like I have any idea what's going on, I only read the books, but apparently that counts for nothing...) Kahlan gets suckered into marrying Darken Rahl and having his male child. Which is bad, because with a male confessor, they get to grow up to be pretty blood thirsty monters.But she had to marry Rahl and have his kid, 'cause Richard's ...like 57 years in the future will need to have a confessor to use to get back to the past since Kahlan is the last one. And Kahlan sees her demise coming soon, since Darken Rahl is an evil bastard.She doesn't think she'll live much past the birth, but surprisingly she kinda does for a few years......o.0
Anyways, she played her part awesomely and I was in awe. She was a very pretty Queen, and looked so sad and distraught, and she pretty much gave up her pride and dignity and any chance of happiness, so she could be with Darken Rahl and have a confessor chlid....so she could hopefully be with Richard....again....in the past. Anyways, Kahlan is freakin beautiful (inside and out, she is freakin made of AWESOME +10000) and I'd totally marry her if I could!
But then, there is Cara! Who I'd cheat on Kahlan with if I could. Mord-Sith = FREAKIN HOT DOMINATRIX! Cara's actress was awesome too. I loved the attitude she had on screen. And at least they got something right with the red leather outfits.
You'd think I'd be more attracted to Richard's character, but has hot as Craig is, he is, I think, a little young looking to portray Richard like I imagained him. Craig needs to get out of puberty first. But I won't deny that he's good to look at!
