The cabaret tonight was just...amazing. The way they dressed, the way they danced the way they spoke...it was wonderful. I like it because Charleston has kind of a bad rep for being ultra conservative and they were most definitely not conservative. Very good for the art community and I just loved the entire evening, it was perfect. Not to mention I think Leni and myself looked very good, especially leni. I knew one of the people that worked at the cabaret and she promised to send me all the info about it and when they show again. I think next time I'll drag Matt along as well, since he plans on dragging me along to boxing one night. And leni...next time we will be rocking our clothes out. lol.
So..other than this wonderful night I've been pretty good. Tomorrow I go camping with Nic, Jackie and matt on an Island somewhere in Monks Corner that's supposedly uninhabited. Sounds like the perfect thriller material, no? Four young college students alone on an island reached only via boat. lol, if it storms tomorrow I will laugh.
busy week ahead, but I'm just happy that I don't have to work after Friday until the 10th of july.
Oh, and know what? I'll be 20 in about 16-17 days. Or however many days it is until July 16th. This is strange for me. I know I should be excited about my 21st birthday, but really the only difference I will feel is the fact that i can finally order some nice wine or cocktail with my dinner. 20 is much more important i think, because it's the final step out of adolescence. No more "teen" for me! A new chapter for a new decade of living. To me it's exciting.
Well, considering it's late and my feet are still aching from walking a few miles downtown in heels I'm off to bed. Love you guys!
