House Update
So Will and I have decided to hold off on doing all the floors. We really want to do hardwood (instead of laminate), but unfortunately we'll be cutting it too close for comfort with our savings so we're going to wait a couple months. So now we'll be pretty much moving in right away. I still will need to paint (I've decided I don't want to live with the flesh colored walls for any amount of time) and I also need to take up the carpet in the bathrooms immediately.
So here is my call for help. If I can get all of my furniture out of storage by close of business on April 24th (the day I go to settlement) Uhaul won't charge me for the extra month of storage. My storage unit actually ends on the 21st or 22nd, so they are being extremely generous not even charging me for those few days. I'm also going to need help deciding on what colors to paint rooms. I'll probably just do a basic cream/antique white for the main living areas and the bathrooms, but I would like to do something more dramatic for my office/bedrooms. I'm probably not going to paint the first weekend, as I want to spend it getting new furniture for my bedroom and figuring out what all I need and where I'm going to put everything.
It may seem a little backwards to bring in the furniture and then paint, but I don't want to choose and paint color for a room and then try to design around it. Don't worry...I don't have nearly enough furniture to fill the whole house so there will be plenty of room to shove things out of the way.
