Always good to see people finding their way back to LJ especially after the odd jump to some of those other social mediums which then left this behind instead of included it. I think the trend from bloggers is starting to circle back to blogging after they realize that twitter, facebook, and myspace just ain't made for what they can do here.

My 2 cent summary is: Got pretty sick a couple years ago - life turned around and forced me to learn to cook, and become active to try and save my crazy life and the quality of it. You'll see me speak of skating (quad roller) and roller derby often now, and photography is my frustration as I struggle the costs to do a film to digital conversion on my terms. Meanwhile, I've discovered blues and picked up a harmonica, and delve into music theory deeper. Still socially retarded and undateable, and working at a job where the ship is sinking and having to ponder the "what next" in a situation that was doing really well, but now will have to change more lifestyle to keep going.

Still have never seen WoW and sorta glad I'm not into it. Your tale of time consumption is what I saw across the board with WoW players - i'm not gonna say that's bad - just that it's not for me.

yeah the cost of film is an outrage, i kinda feel discriminated against that way.
