Spring Awakening in Dallas, TX
As many of you know, Spring Awakening is one of those things I am extrememly passionate about, something that changed me and inspired me. It is something I truely care about and want more people to discover it!
For those of you who don't know, Spring Awakening is a tony award winning musical and takes its inspiration from one of literature’s most controversial masterpieces, a play which was banned for nearly 100 years for its daring concept. A story of German teens discovering themselves, and discovering sexuality in a world where the adults rule and kids have no say in their own life. And its all set to a soundtrack of rock music. It is honestly the most beautiful thing I have ever seen on stage.
Spring Awakening, which has now been performed on Broadway and the West End, is now touring nationally across America, and from March 23rd to April 4th, will be showing at the Winspear Opera House in Austin, Texas.
