Chicago
It makes no sense to me that up in the room, Internet costs like $12...but down in the Lobby it's complimentary. So guess where I am? Oh yeah. Chillin in the Lobby!
Got into Chicago yesterday, hung out with Amanda for a little bit, and then I went to a White Sox game. It was fun, though it would have been better if they'd have actually won. C'est la vie, I suppose.
Met up with chrysa today. We spent a couple of hours at the Field Museum, then we walked over to the Sears tower and went up to the Sky Deck. In all the years I've been to Chicago, I've never been up there. So that was cool.
Afterwards we headed back to the hotel, ordered Giordano's Pizza, and watched A Dog's Breakfast.
Tomorrow the convention starts. :) Though, sadly, Jason Momoa had to cancel, which sucks. We saw him a couple years ago, and he's awesome. But as long as David Hewlett comes, I'll be happy. I've been wanting him as a guest for years now. Yay! And he'll be on stage with Joe Flanigan, which is guaranteed to be hilarious.
