Confess to "6 weird things/habits" and then pick on six other bloggers/diarists to do the same.
1. Lauren must pray when she gets done in the bathroom. I have no idea why. It's never when she pees, only when she poops. And not only that, but she prays in a squatting position next to the toilet with her pants and panties around her ankles. Perhaps she's giving thanks. I'm not sure.
2. Lauren must lift up my skirt in public. It's becoming much more routine than I would like. Thank goodness she doesn't lift it up ALL THE WAY. At which point, she begins to rub my legs. At least she doesn't complain when I don't shave. And at least she's moved on past the boob thing. She used to unbutton my shirt to get to the boobs, so at least this way it's a bit more modest.
3. Lauren must sleep with her Cajun music at night. Not so strange given my heritage and new location, but definitely strange for a child. Most kids really don't care about the type of music if they sleep with music, at least in my experience, but this one does. Most definitely must be Cajun music or she has a fit.
4. Lauren must hug and kiss me about a million times before I leave her each morning. Each kiss is followed by a "one more" until I finally pry her from me. Awwwwwwwwwwwww No crying, though, which is most certainly a good thing.
5. Come to think of it, I don't quite understand why she's so hesitant to walk in the door at daycare each morning. She just stands there, waits for me to walk in and the door to start closing, then she rushes in and tells everyone hello and starts talking about whichever toy she's insisted on bringing in. But this is an every day thing. She stands and refuses to go in. She loves her school and the people there, but it's sort of a game. *shrugs*
6. Damn, it's hard to think of a sixth thing. What can I say? It's Friday evening and I've had a hard week. lol But I'm sure something weird will come up tonight.
