It's been a while...

People think I should keep up with my journal better. Meh...

Well life has been life. Everyday I have my ups and downs, my good thoughts and my bad thoughts, my smiles and my frowns. Nothing unusual or that no one else experiences.

I have recently received the generous gift of a game cube, which has now become a part of my daily routine. I started out w/three games: Animal Crossing, Zelda, and Vexx. All three very entertaining. My brother is also very grateful for this gift and has played it as much as he can get away with. You have to realize that this is our first system since the original nintendo. We're a little out of the loop when it comes to playing video games and were somewhat intimidated by the number of buttons to choose from on the remote controller. However, we've adjusted quite nicely to say the least. Not only that, my MOM is hooked on animal crossing and plays it daily as well. Daddy just recently informed me that animal crossing has now become a part of her nightly dreams. Mom always has some dream to share and usually it's about work. Now she dreams of the little animals coming into the store while she's working. She tries really hard to hide how anxious she is to play, but we know better ;) Hell, even Daddy likes to watch us play. This game cube has been a big hit.

I was also spoiled with a Gameboy Advanced, which has been added to the collection of necessities in my purse so that when I have a spare moment I can pull it out and play. Currently I've been working on Super Mario World (I love Mario games b/c they're the only games I'm REALLY good at). The world of video games is a lot more fun then I remembered, but still not ready to compete w/two player games. It's embarassing how bad I can be at these games.

Tuesday night Cameron and I went to the screening of "The Life of David Gale" It's an excellent movie and I recommend you see it when it comes out. The very last song in the movie is badass. But the movie itself was really well done I thought. I had a blast being w/Cameron. He treated me to Amy's ice cream afterward (smart guy), and bought me a bouncy ball (I collect them). I bounced the ball once on the table (not very high) and it landed straight into my ice cream. Oops.

Tonight Abbie is staying the night and I'll be introducing her to animal crossing while I work on some extra credit for psychology. Hoping to watch a movie tonight and possibly bake some goodies, but doubt we'll have to time for it all before Mommy makes us go to bed. Don't have definite plans for this weekend, but I'm hoping to hang out and spend the night w/some drama ppl. Possibly go to the carnival Bevyn was talking about (I love carnivals and it's been so long since I've been to one... I hope they have a little ferris wheel. One ride on the ferris wheel and I'd be happy the whole rest of the night :))

It's the end of the 4th six weeks. There are some parts of this school year I can't wait to get over with, but there are other parts that I don't want to end. I feel like I haven't been on track w/my life all year and its been a struggle to try and get back on it. Suppose to receive letters of acceptance/rejection at the end of March. I really want to get into UT. I'm scared as fuck I won't.

Sabrina! Don't forget that Daddy's birthday is this Monday the 24th! ;)

This has turned out to be pretty lengthy. Guess it makes up for the lack of writing I've done lately. Time to do homework.
