I feel like I often start entries this way but...
I haven't updated in a very long while! Life has been full of occupying moments that steal me away from the ol' ell jay. IE. I'm applying to grad schools whilst studying for the GRE, writing my personal statement, reading marine biology literature, vacationing on the beach,...what? Did I say vacationing on the beach? Why yes I did. What can I say...yoga takes an hour and a half and running takes a little more time--BOOM! 2 hours gone. Let's not forget about sleeping and eating which-- as everyone who knows me is aware-- are two of my favoritest things in the world.
But back to the important stuff. Life is good--I'm doing what I want to be doing. I hope the stars align and my dream school will welcome me with open arms and a key to the research boat. Also can I just say how excited I am at the prospect of teaching again?? I miss nurturing young minds.
Okay--two paragraphs. Suffish, yes?
No. I know. I need to write more. Hopefully we can make this a more routine thing, Ell Jay. Routine is good. Let's give a round of applause for Routine.
