whattttt a night!
Yesterday was crazy and fun! Had birthday party #3 which went so well, it was very fun. Went home and worked for a little while, and then went out with Meghan, her bf Zack, Tasha, Cristina, Georgey, and Geoffy. We went to beta first and beirut/danced it up (Cristina and I won!). There are many reasons why beta is so great, but one is their great music during parties. JonChen is a DJ master. There are very few songs I don't like that they play. And, of course, I love that I have all my great dance partners!
Anyway so after Beta was Blue Hill where I saw LAURAAAA!!! And her beautiful engagement ring!!! Cristina and I both attempted to try it on but just about half way on we were both like "Nope!! Nope!! Not ready yet!!" haha so anyway, after blue hill closed we went to Pin Up which was okay. I ran into that guy in my argumentation class again, he's so cool!! He's like a food connoisseur and really into wine and gourmet food and everything. We only talked for a sec, but in that brief sec he told me about his experience at Barcelona, where the service was really bad and he told the server that his boss was a food critic (really, his professor was a food critic for the post), and that he would tell his boss about the terrible service there. Crazy!!! Anyway I wish I still had that argumentation class with him but it looks like I'll have the one after so I'll see him around probably.
And after that was fucking craziness involving Andy getting deserted at a bar where he got a ride back with people he didn't know that took him to some place he didnt know and geoff and i were really really worried about him all night until he got back this afternoon at like 1 and he told us the whole story which is way longer than what i described. I'm glad we can laugh about it now, but at the time it was really scary! Although he did leave me a really funny message (we thought he was on drugs, but apparently, it was "code speak") and it was really random and cryptic and weird.
So that was my night/morning/early afternoon, and now I am off to go do work. til lata
