Spring 2016 Wrap Up! [+ Mini Reviews]
The summer season has already started or is about the start, and the humidity has really notched up this past weekend so it's time to wrap up the Spring months!! You can see my Spring Watching List here.
I had 9 dramas, 7 anime, which is a total of 16 shows (not including Game of Thrones) this past season which seems like alot but I was surprised at how much extra time I had to watch a billion stage plays (I watched all of Messiah, all of Tenimyu Gen 6th, some Hakuouki, Kin'Iro, the list continues) and have time to write reviews (which I'm nearly up to date on - YAY!). It also helped that I was on a 'Starting' which meant once I'd finished a show or a book, I wasn't allowed to start another in summer (July) came so that opened up a lot of room too.
But anyway! Let's get onto the list!
Out of the 16 things I planned to watch, I managed to complete 6 of the shows. So first lets get the things I didn't finish, or even start out of the way:
Didn't Finish / Didn't Start
I put Good Partner on hold after one episode because I decided I wanted to watch it with subs so I could completely understand what's going on.
I also didn't even start Seirei no Moribito (what's point watching season 1 now when the series won't be complete until like 2018/2019?!) and Dias Police (I technically didn't have time to fit this one in. And I hear it's getting a season two and/or a movie so kinda good I didn't start it or else I'd be annoyed right now that it's not completely finished at the end of the drama).
I haven't continued or touched Hunter x Hunter, Prince of Tennis and Fairy Tail in like 5/6 weeks BUT I have managed to progress:
HunterxHunter - from epsiode 40-ish to episode 74.
Fairy Tail - from episode 33 to episode 140. As you can see I got REAL into it! But unfortunately the play (see review here) was so disappointing that I think it put me in a slump with this anime.
Prince of Tennis - from episode 10 to episode 11 - I made lots of progress with the other anime so you can forgive me for this one right?!
I will try and get back into these shows during the summer. POT might go on hold for a while though... not decided yet.
And now I'll talk about the stuff I DID finish this season!

1. Watashi ha Kekkon Dekinai Janakute, Shinai - I freaking loved this!!! It was so enjoyable, so juicy, so much stuff went down and I shipped Miyabi with like everyone! Also if you didn't see, Seto's fanbase BLEW UP because of this dorama xD his role was so good! The ending was disappointing BUT this was so good to watch! Full review should be coming soon! Also Yukkuri have subbed up to episode 8! So check it out here!
2. Ressha Sentai ToQGer - omg guys... this ripped me apart. This was AMAZING! I cannot believe when it first aired I was like 'I ain't watching this childish shitty train sentai!' and completely ignored it until this season and OMG I marathoned it so hard! I loved it that much I was watching this AT work and freaking crying my eyes out at my desk! Full review will come soon!
3. Kamen Rider Amazons - OMG you guy this one too! It was amazing! I'm SO pissed there's only 13 episodes and I'm SO pissed I have to wait til like 2017/2018 for season two! OMG this was so dark, so mysterious, so good! Freaking omg. I ain't even mad at how small Baba Ryoma's role was cos this was so good!!! Seriously, Mamoru x Haruka FOR LIFE! Full review will come ^_^
4. GARO: Makai Retsuden - probably the weakest in the GARO series yet. This was supposed to be a 10th anniversary thing but we only got episodical episodes of well known characters. Some episodes were either really great or really boring. There was no running story between the episode and we saw our past favourites so fleatingly, which is a shame. It was just 12 really random episodes in my opinion and some were hits whereas others really did miss. I won't make a full review of this.
5. Joker Game - I was super excited to watch this cos I'd watched the Kame film just weeks before this started airing. This all had hits and misses for me. While overall this anime got rave reviews from everyone; I found myself either being completely hooked on an episode, or just flicking my eyes to it and barely pay attention in other episode. Some episodes that stood out were the boat episode, any episodes that were the same as the movie, and epsiode 8 and 11. I found myself finding the mysteries and the spyness all a bit predicatable at times too. This was an enjoyable anime but I didn't seem to like it anywhere near as everyone else.
6. Sakamoto desu ga - This was bizarre. It was so strange... it was ridiculous. It was so strange I don't even think I enjoyed it. It was so.... odd. I'm defo not the right crowd for this...
Still-OnGoing
KR Ghost and Zyuogher are still on-going; Zyuogher has slowed down a litle interms of keeping my interesting but it's still enjoyble and I was completely into Ghost when they did Allen's arc but now that we're past that arc, I'm back to like 'hurry up and be over' mode - sorry!
Of course One Piece is still on-going (I went from episode 670 to 745 during the spring season!). I WAS up to date but now I'm about 3 episodes behind now.
Also Ace Attorney seems to be a 24/26 episode show instead of 12 so looks like this'll follow me into summer but this isn't as good as I was hoping. It's all too easy to figure out...
Extras
As the season was calming down I managed to watch some other things like; marathoning Hakuouki season 1 and omg it ripped me apart. Holy shit guys. I was NOT prepared. How can 26 episodes ruin a person so easily and so quickly?! It's SO dark and it's one of those that rips you apart with the feels but you can't NOT watch! Like wtf?! o_O
That's pretty much my spring season done! So nows the list of pretty much everything (bar stage plays cos damn we'll be here for decades writing that list out. But if you wanna see it then let me know!) I watched and completed in the spring months:

I'm still way ahead in Movies compared to Doramas which NEEDS sorting! xD as you can tell this was a lot slow than my winter months but stage is definitely taking up my life MORE than tv and films atm. But hopefully it'll all balance out cos I actually am missing my dorama marathons...
And that's my wrap up! My next post will either be a review of a dorama or it'll be my summer definitely watching list ^_^
