I've finished all my anime for the season! Granted it was only 2 anime but here we go!
As always be aware because SPOILERS!
Boku Dake ga Inai Machi [ Japan - 2016 9/10 ]
I started watching this one when it was already half way through the season! I knew the film was coming out and my friend had raved how the manga was so good! So I thought I'd give it a shot... I marathon 7 episodes in one day! I could NOT stop watching! It's mysterious, suspensful, you have no idea what's going to happen next or if he's gunna suceed! I enjoyed this so much! And I shipped Satoru and Kenya SO hard!! But there are a couple of things that stop this anime from being a 10 out of 10. First major thing: The murderer - it was WAY too obvious and I knew from episode 2 (the first moment they are introduced) that they were the killer so it lacks points in being completely mysterious. The only other thing is that yes this tis thoroughly entertaining and you can't stop watching BUT it has it's dumb moments. The two that I'll mention are: When one of the girls in is a house fire, instead of jumping out of her bedroom window and getting away from the fire, she instead opens her bedroom door and goes TOWARDS the fire in order to try to escape. Bitch you are dumb as shit and deserve to die if you're gunna do something as stupid as that! The second illogical thing is that Satoru's mother saw WAY early on that Hina was clearly being violently abused, BUT she didn't do shit about it for like 5 episodes?! What the actual fuck?! You get down that phone and onto the police and childcare and you get that kid outta there asap!!! No sympathy for her mother WHAT SO EVER! To go back to the positive notes: That last episode - holy moly anxiety and suspense FILLED! I was on the edge of my seat and I was so shocked when he let go!! But omg amazing ending! And one last thing I wanna say is: I SERIOUSLY suspected that Kenya was another time traveller. He was just WAY too mature and logical for his age that it was SO suspicious! Would've been nice if he was but I like the role he ended up playing anyway ^_^
Overall: Entertaining, suspensful, mysterious (it's especially mysterious if you're not very logical and don't pick up on the hints about the murderer), and I could not stop watching! There are some moments that seem very stupid and illogical but pushing that aside, I loved this so much and the ending is amazing! Also Satoru x Kenya! <3

Prince of Tennis Stride [ Japan - 2016 8/10 ]
I thought this was my first ever sports anime but turned out I lied, Free! was my first sports. I think this is my second. I absolutely love the concept of this sport! It's Parcor meets running meets speed and high fives! It's SO good! I love all the characters and I like how they dynamics and relationships form and omg the three childhood friends scenes were so heartwarming <3 And I was actually in streams of tears and full of anxiety whenever the races were going on! And I LOVED how one of the teams is also an idol group xD and I love how her father is against her team and this is so great! I really love the comedy in this too! Especially Takeru's obsession with feeling peoples legs and Kohinata constantly being made to crossdress as a girl xD I seriously need more of this! The last two episodes I just cried all the way through <3 And we got a stage announcement while this was airing too so you can bet your ass I'm going to those stages!! Also Izaki! <3 As I'm not a pro with sports anime, my rating might be lower or high than those that have seen multiple sports animes. So don't yell at me if you feel I got the rating totally wrong on this one =[ I personally loved and enjoyed it and it's made me wanna definitly try more and more sports anime in the future - I'm starting to see their appeal. Also we're getting a FREAKING ice skating sports anime soon! Holy moley! << this seems to be my phrase recently...
Overall: I enjoyed every minute of this and I love the concept of the sport and really wish it was a real sport! I enjoyed the characters and the races (the animation is also amazing!) and I need more!

One final one I want to mention is Sushi Police. I got about 3 episodes into the anime before dropping it. I didn't like the animation, I didn't like how it was set in America and the conept itself was interesting but wasn't executed well in my opinion. The shorter animes tend to not be that great anyway. So I stopped watching it.
That wraps up my anime for Winter 2016!!
What did you watch this season?
