Siren Review!
Finally gotten around to reviewing the Autumn Dramas I watched this season!! And here is the first one: SIREN!
Firstly, Matsuzaka Tori is back in full force this last half of the year and I love it!!

First scene and he's in a dress!!!! He's so fucking sexy!!! Glad to see him back in a more regular acting schedule.

Ugh this bitch Nanao ALWAYS plays bitchy characters and it's always the same character type -_- BORED! It'd be nice to see her play something different to prove she can actually act!

How could you not be suspicious of a strange woman suddenly showing up constantly in a short amount of time AFTER a murder scene?! o_O Any NORMAL person would get suspicious straight away! And she's a fucking cop!

I don't like Yuki's kanji. Just putting it out there (btw did you know that most Japanese people pick a name depending on how many 'lucky strokes' it has as well as if it 'matches' their surname - what kind of 18th Century voodoo are Japan still believing in?! Sometimes it's just TOO backwards for it's own good...)
I love the theme song to this dorama too!
So it's a boyfriend revenge plot??
Ooo they put Kimura's (Yuki) car CM and Siren mixed together! Nice touch! xD

....So.... she's Yuki's twin?!?!!?? *brain clicks* this all almost makes sense now...
Yuki ain't dead... she ain't.... right?! o_O =S

His eyes have completely changed into killer mode - amazing acting Tori!

So the boxer changed to Kara and Kara changed back to her old face and pretend to be Yuki. The only thing that doesn't make sense is how FAST she got the surgery, but I guess that explains why she got black growing on her forehead.

Overall Thoughts: Great soundtrack, great theme song, great story, great plot, great acting, the characters were very questionable but in a good way because they were all so deep and interesting and left me wondering about their motives and everything! Also, some amazingly sexy moments, amazing chemistry between Tori and Kimura and sexy Tori is always welcome <3
The ending felt rushed and it definitely needed a tenth episod, because some of the logic and 'time' in the last mystery/reveal is a little questionable, but omg it didn't half keep me guessing ALL the way up to the very last moment! This was a dorama that surprised me if I'm perfectly honest. I love Tori and I've recently had an interest in Kimura because of Mother Game recently but for some reason I didn't expect much of it. I didn't expect ANYTHING from this dorama at all, but it ended up being one of the ONLY three dramas I decided to continue watching when my doramas were overwhelming me, which proves how great this story was and how much it kept me interested.
Overall Rating: 8/10
