The Last Things I Watched Part XI
I have 14 things to review for you guys tonight and then I'll officially caught up! Are you ready? There's everything from Sports Doramas to Romanctic Comedy movies to SPs to comedy! Do enjoy! Of course the posters will always be before the review/spoilers so just skip to the next post if you don't want to be spoiled ^_^ I will say there's possible spoilers in ALL of these so be warey! And they're all JAPANESE =]

Gakkou no Kaidan [2015 - 3/10]
*DROPPED
Bored… Episode 1: I know I’ve grown out of HS dramas anyway cos they’re always about bullying. This did look interesting and has a lot of great actors in it. Main girl is annoying! Cry baby -_- but we’ll see… Kamiki’s character is interesting. Do not like that main top guy though -_- I bet he runs the school or something. OMG -_- eo 2 and she’s still being a fucking push over -_- STOP THAT BUS! Take the food! Fucking hell. She’s acting like she just got there?! How can everyone else know the rules bar her?! They’re all specials! She’s such a dumbass. These fucking idiots (I am honestly laughing so hard as I write up these notes right now) Just cos they say do it, doesn’t mean you should! WTF they gunna do if you don’t?! Wankers. That’s your mother’s money fault not yours! If you spoke to your siblings they’d understand! -_- You’re telling me police were there and didn’t stop the open bullying?! I call bullshit. WTF. And thus part way through episode 2 I gave up. Especially seen as I hear Kamiki and the girl get together at the end and just WTF, that just wouldn’t work for me tbh.
Kirin no Tsubasa [2012 - 7/10]
Who’s the son?! He died ASAP?! MATSUZAKA!!! <3 YAMAZAKI!!!! <3 Also Suda Masaki! <3 Bit boring in parts but I did cry. Yuto got WAY to much stuck! Yama got like no time which is bas as the murderer should’ve gotten more screen time! -_- Overall an okay watch, not what I expected… although thinking back now (I watched it like 3 months ago) I actually did quiet enjoy it and would like to rewatch it in the future. Also I gotta find where that statue is and take pics with it!! It’s featured in both this film AND in Tatakau! Shoten Girl <3
Another [2012 - 6/10]

OMG hell from second 1! What’s wrong Yama - oh they undid his shirt <3 He looks so young here! He was like 16 when this was filmed right? So cute <3 Strangely turning into a romance?! O_o Pacing and change in scene is weird. Turned into a murder mystery?! o_O such a gentlemen helping her into the abandoned part of the school. So grown up at the end <3 but OMG confusing ending! O_O I don’t think this movie knows what genre it wanted to be =/ boring at the beginning but it was definitely interesting to watch and the mystery and everything was interesting so not a bad film. Turns out there an anime (and maybe a manga?) of this so how about we compare and contrast? xD *two months later* I actually think about this film all the time and how I wanna rewatch it so it clearly left some impression on me =]
Yowakutemo Katemasu [2014 - 8/10]
Can you tell NOW who I’ve been marathoning? … The humour is right up my alley! Is it just the entire Suikyuu Yankees cast again? Although this one was filmed first, right? Hongo and Dori also <3 I rarely see Dori (haven’t seen it since Clone Baby!) so happy to see him again in something =] And Fukushi <3 I have a love-hate relationship with him but that’s not what this section is about so back to the dorama! Kamezawa!! =[ Because they are the top academic school, I did expect them to apply maths and such in order to win, but I guess only super brainy people can do that? Makes me wanna rewatch Suikyuu Yankees - and probs vice-versa. Also makes me wanna rewatch Clone Baby cos of Dori and Yamazaki. OMG ENGLISH?!?! Holy shit I think I just died! <3 When they lost =’[ tried so hard no to cry at the last episode =[ I love this casting so much <3 Nakajima + Nino are the least interesting though xD and Nakajima is weak here. Love it!! Love the cast <3 the story <3 the fact it’s about baseball <3 Nino and Nakajima were definitely overshadowed (more like overtaken) by everyone else in my opinion. The humour suited me perfectly too!
Clover [2014 - 6/10]
Emi was pretty good in this. I didn’t like her boss/bf at all! He was way too mean -_- should’ve ended with the childhood friends together seriously! I was so sad when she rejected his kiss! HEARTBROKEN! “Rehabil” was a childish/stupid reason to start a relationship too. I think it’s something only first loves in their teenage years should use… But it was an easy movie watch and entertaining so it has a better than average score.
Silver Spoon [2014 - 7/10]
The slaughter scene was SO sad! =’[ but bacon FTW!! <3 I liked Nakajima’s acting and his character development was really good, and that while his original motive was cos of a girl, he actually wanted to do the job. This dorama is very similar to Wood Job so I recommend that if you like one then you’ll like the other =] I liked his parents at that end scene too.
Jellyfish Princess [2014 - 8/10]
OMG MASAKI CROSSDRESSING!!!!! <3 *nosebleed* he suited it way too much and I enjoyed seeing him like that WAY too much xD don’t worry, if you’re not into that, it’s not the center of the film at all! But it was a HUGE plus for me and my enjoyment <3 Loved the whole otaku setting but I wsh they’d all been models at the end of the film and had more character development =[ Ama-chan (I don’t know her real name xD) did fairly well in her acting too. I don’t think her as a person because the one interview I saw her in she was WAY too shy and WAY too innocent be the same age as me (I’m the dirstiest minded person on the planet who can’t go a minute without saying something dirty to my friends, so it just doesn’t seem a possibility to me to meet someone my age who is actually not at least mentally corrupted with dirtiness xD). The romance was a little bleh though. Masaki didn’t need to fall for her and viceversa cos his brother was the perfect candidate for her and he liked her! Hasegawa Hiroki <3 slowly becoming a serious fav of mine!
Parasyte Part 1 [2014 - 7/10]
Sometani <3 the CGI was pretty good in this and I loved Some’s acting as usual! The romance ain’t needed and how quickly the cops accepted Parasytes as a possibility/reality/murderer was a bit too quick. BUT, I liked the twist of his mother becoming a host and the next part looks crazy xD
Omotesando [2015 - 2/10]

Had to drop after 30 minutes. Too stereotypical, predictable (in a bad way), annoying lead and boring. Not for me, sorry! Here's my play-by-play with watching the dorama:
Ugh she has the face of a 30 year old and of a SMAP member...
Oh jesus not another 'divorce is bad, they must get back together' story line?
And here we have the stereotypical 'from a small island, is a completely fucking idiot and has no common sense or maturity' main lead.
And here are the stereotypical mean girls who I bet she stands up to and they all have personal problems and that's why they're mean!
And here are the stereotypical three rejects who I bet she helps give confidence to.
And here is the stereotypical run-down, pervy, teacher who I bet she revitalises!
WTF is the jumping all about? Grow the fuck up.
O look! A caste system in the Japanese school classroom, why am I NOT surprised.
That green bubble tea looks so good though. So do the pancakes!
Shirota Yu has lost weight in recent years =/ doesn't look good on him here...
O look a mean girl pretending to be a nice girl but has done some bullying behind her back! < not surprised
O look! The entire class stays silent while she's bullied. < not surprised.

Someone needs to kick drop her whenever she jumps. It's a fucking stupid thing. Absolute bollocks. She'll soon learn her lesson if someone kickdrops her mid jump.
O look the number 1 ranked boy in the class has taken an interest in the new girl who gets bullied. < not surprised!
Shirota isn't a main character and don't really know the D-BOYS actor enough to be interested in him.
OMG YOUR PARENTS DIVORCED! GET OVER IT!!! IT'S NOT LIKE ONE OF THEM DIED! YOU CAN STILL SEE THEM AND YOUR SISTER! Fucking hell...

Ao no Honou [2003 - 6/10]
WTF is this blue flame? Very simple story, not much action. Ending was expected. Nino did good but wish his character had had more development in his evilness (I watched this during the time DN aired so y’know, I was craving evilness xD). It was slow paced but interesting. That ending was silly tbh. The romance wasn’t needed either. And now I have three unexplainable notes that are written (exactly) as followed: ‘About murders. 2nd twist murder. Nino was odd’ … OH! Yeah I wasn’t expecting the 2nd murder! (so that’s one of the notes figured out) and yeah Nino’s character was odd which was very interesting =] No idea what my first note was going on about haha
Kisaragi [2007 - 7/10]
A dark comedy that is very cute and very heart warming. It’s great how they were all connected in the end ^_^ Oguri and Kagawa’s comedy crying was the best!! But why didn’t they show Miki til the end? O_o it was very ‘An Inspector Calls’-esque which is a play I love. HAHA the ending dance was hilarious! xD So typical! But was the proper ending actually called for? I don’t think it was needed.
Signal [2012 - 8.5/10]
Well look who the fuck showed up?! xD OMG Kengo Kora’s face change was Yagami Light level then!! Astounding acting! I fecking love the setting of this film <3 HARUTO?!?! He’s so sexy! Kora really knows how to create an atmosphere. He’s one of those crazy ex-bfs who thinks hurting themselves will cause others paind. What a manipulative son of a bitch! Has Kengo ever played a full on villain? I wanna see that!! God that slap! She’s pretty cute… Naka has such great lips >.< Isn’t that Riko’s (Tatakau! Shoten Girl) dad?! TEARS!!! She went outside!! MORE TEARS! HA his reaction to her confession xD I didn’t expect they’d be a kiss in this tbh! OMG such a nice, slow film with an amazing setting and some brilliant performances =]
Death Game Park [2010 - 9/10 (was originally 10/10)]

HOLY CRAP INOUE MASAHIRO?! O_o I didn’t remember him in this from last time!!!! I seriously wanna know more about this world! And why it’s become the way it is and what the hell is happening outside etc. So glad I have the book too so maybe it’ll have more details ^_^ OMG I got the answers ‘7’ and ‘515’ right! I remember getting ‘7’ correct the first time I watched it too! O_O Maybe I should be a spy xD *half-way through* If I remember correctly Inoue is the bad guy… Just realised there’s 3 Toku actors here! Miss the old dramas to be honest, so nostalgic! I miss Tori’s famous days too - seems like he was on a streak in 2012 but has been mega quiet since! *cries* but he is in Siren this season so may watch that. I seriously do miss him…. - *back to drama* If this was the US, they would fuck and makeout right here what with only the two of them being left. Or is it her brother who’s the baddie?! I know Tori is evil in the end if I remember correctly but I don’t remember anything else…. I KNEW IT! He let her die!! Love the camera and fighting scenes/choreography in this! Ooooo what?! So fucking hot! OOOOO WTF TO THE ENDING! Pretty sure I was pissed the first time too! I want more! I need a sequel! I NEED MORE!!! Wonder if the author wrote more than one novel in this world….
GARO: GOLDSTORM Shou [2015 - 7/10]
Holy crap the fight scenes in this! Both the choreography and the cinematography are brilliant! I always love the colouring but the sound always slightly bugs me, especially the footsteps sound bytes -__- Ryuga <3 I know Tilmon finds his face punchable but I think he’s so sexy <3 DAMN that corset on Inou seriously! I like Ryure’s outfit, it seems easy to make but still prefer Rian’s! <3 Zabura doesn’t get enough time in this season =[ Ooooo Inoue is so hot in this and that DAM corset <3 I seriously cannot get enough of it! OMG a flying Gold GARO?! Reminds me of Kiva!! Sexy as hell!!! He can’t die at episode 18, can he?! I REALLY don’t ship Ryuga x Rian. Now Rian dies?! Ooooo Rian turned bad!!! xD Her switch between the two ain’t Kubota-Light-level (aye, I see Kubota is gunna be a new level high for the evilness scale xD) but it’s okay. O Jesus she does like Ryuga! -_- why is it canon?! -_- WHY IS IT CANON?! Sounds like Gald likes her too… I’d give anything to have Rian’s legs. There’s no fat or big muscle or wobble of them at all! Gald defo likes her! Holding her hand xD I love the softness in this show too. Quickest sex change ever!! I don’t know why Ryure’s suddenly an important part at the end. She’s sat on her arse on a throne for 20+ episodes but now all of a sudden she’s fighting? But DAM these fucking fight scenes are beautiful! Who did the choreography and CGI?! *searches* CGI is Omnibus Japan and Choreography is Oohashi Akira. I freaking want a Radan so much! Bad ass Howl’s Moving Castle if you ask me!! Ryuga doesn’t seem strong enough to defeat Radan. Ryuga always seemed like a low levelled Gold GARO =/ o_O HOLY SHIT! Inoue never dies! xD Course she fucking lives -_- HOLY SHIT THAT LAST FIGHT!!!! =O Look how heart broken Ryuga is < / 3 I is trying not to cry!!! Overall, the characters were great, the fighting was absolutely amazing - the best in the series so far! - but I feel the plot let it down and the romance just was NOT needed -__-
