Overall Thoughts: This was EPIC!!! OMG first things first: Kubota's acting!! We're always known he was an amazing actor but Holy fuck he seriously stepped up a billion times in this! He's definitely surpassed Fujiwara's Light easily! And then let's talk about the changes: I fucking loved them!! OMG They kept me on my feet and made me feel like I didn't know the story of Death Note! Normally changes piss people off but DAMN they seriously worked in the writers favour!! And then Yamazaki <3 Yamazaki was just ugh, so sexy! And yeah people said 'his acting is bad blah blah' yeah it wasn't as good as Kubota's but damn I still think he did a brilliant job. If anyone's to blame then it's the writers for not giving him more episodes room to expand his acting range (cos he is a damn brillian actor!!). What else is there to say: It messed with my emotions, I cried, it was sexy, it was scary, it was hilarious (RYUK!!!), it was thrilling, I was blown away many many times. Just if you're a DN fan this is clearly a must but, damn even if you're not an original DN fan, definitely see this!! The CGI wasn't terrible their!! And OMG that Soundtrack! *L's theme is stuck in my head!* just omg... omg.. I think this wins Dorama of the year for me, seriously! But we'll see xD there's still 3 months left of the year haha but OMG!!!
Rating: 9.5/10 (cos that fucking episode 9 was horrible and I couldn't STAND Near (FUCK YOU NEAR!) even though he's my fav in the manga, but everything else was phenominal!)
