OF COURSE, how could it be that I didn´t see that earlier - indeed I have been to soft on you. I should have forced you to watch SUIKYU YANKEES with the utmost persistence!!! I deeply apologize *deep bows*
To make up for my earlier slopiness - here´s is your new chores-list - AND DON´T YOU DARE NOT TO FOLLOW IT (damn, where did I put my horsewhip?). Disobeying will be punished with 4 days listening to VERY old Caterina Valente-records for 10 hours in a row each day (wouldn´t be punishment for me, but it will be for you!): You will finish the following doramas until: Sunday: Fubena benriya Tuesday: Yasahii Jikan Thursday: Kyowa Kaisha Yasumimasu and since you love Miura Haruma soooo much, you will need just one day: Friday: Last Cinderella
I will soon mail you the movie list that you will have to watch the following weekend. And don´t start whining - you had it coming!!! ^-^.
Seijo - I got stuck with it although I liked it - the subs didn´t fit for ep 5 and then other doramas came up - need to finish that soon.
What´s your problem with the age difference? One year is really nothing. I had a friend couple where he was 10 years younger than she was - they were so happy together. Age doesn´t matter as long as two people honestly love each other.
You have been soft on me!! ^_^ But I finished it today =]
AHA! I've already seen Last Cinderella (hated the ending) and Kyo wa Kaisha Yasumimasu!
Yasashii Jikan looks old so I don't know where I'd get that. Fubena Benriya I do wanna watch though! =] is it completed already?
Ooo a movie list! Well I'll tell you now, the only movies I currently have on my laptop is: L-DK, Wood Job, Silver Spoon, Vancouver no Asahi, Suke tte na yo, SPEC: Close Incarnation and Kisaragi.
One year is nothing but for some reason, I think it's because my sister is only 6 years younger than me, anyone born after 1995 I just can't, I feel like an actual pedophile. Like I LOVE Nakagawa Taishi and Nishii Yukito and Tanaka Juri but because they're 2 years and more younger than me, I definitely see them more as a sibling than a love interest.
Ah, you finished it - and how did you like it in the end? Even Nakajima wasn´t bad in this one, I´d say. But of course my eyes almost tilted rotating between Yamazaki, Chiba, and Yoshizawa.
I have to admit *cough cough* I haven´t watched LAST CINDERELLA yet. Every time I wanted to start with it so many new doramas started - and mostly I prioritize them to be able to join discussions about them with you guys. So don´t spoiler me regarding the ending please, since I STILL plan to watch it ^-^.
Yes, "Yasashii Jikan" is an older dorama. In fact I would say it is Kazunari Ninomiya`s best dorama work so far. I´ve watched it three times already and still love it. But since it is located in wintry Hokkaido, this one is an ideal dorama for winter time. When I watched it late in the evening I was always tortured by getting such an appetite for handpoured coffee (if you´ll watch it you´ll know why) - but of course it´s a no-no to drink coffee late in the evening if you think of ever finding sleep. And so i was suffering big time ^-^.
FUBENA BENRIYA I finished yesterday morning (together with ZANNEN NA OTTO)over breakfast. I love FUBENA - so hilarious. Okada is the perfect cast for this one ^-^. I´m pretty sure you will like it as well.
Have you ever watched Ikuta Toma`s dorama "Osozaki no Himawari" (Late blooming sunflowers)? I really enjoyed it and it´s nice to watch around this time of year. If you haven´t, give it a try.
From your movie list I already watched L-DK and WOOD JOB (of course), I do have SILVER SPOON ready but haven´t watched it yet - for VANCOUVER NO ASAHI there are no subs around yet (at least I didn´t find any) - the other movies I don´t know.
Ah, I see - you always compare them with your sister - age wise. Well, if your feeling tells you "no", then "no" it shall be. I am always a big fan of listening to the inner voice - it´s important.
Nakajima's acting really surprised me in this one! I think it's the first time he's proven he can somewhat act! =]
AHA! I've seen Last Cinderella and you haven't!! It is really good bar the ending but that's my personal opinion.
I haven't seen Osozaki no Himawari yet. I'm not a fan of Maki Yoko (once again the fact I can't stand most female actors is present xD) but I do plan to watch it at some point.
VANCOUVER NO ASAHI only came out on DVD two days ago so I'm not surprised there's no subs yet xD
I don´t know why you had to put that "AHA" in capital letters. Probably because you`re a Miura-maniac and can´t understand how I have could have ignored it so long? Yes, that must be it!
LOL - I know that problem. Kento´s co-actor in L-DK is Ayame Gouriki - and despite the fact that many people like here a lot, I don´t. So far I always seen her in either evil or very "girly" roles - and I don´t like either one nor the other. But still, you should give "Osozaki no Himawari" - it´s a real Ikuta!
It's not me that dislikes Okada remember, it's Tilmon! I have a love/hate relationship with Okada. Like I loved him in Uchuu Kyoudai but not so much Mirai Nikki. I can't think of any of his others right now. He's overrated is my main opinion of him xD
I'm gunna have to rewatch Mirai Nikki soon too cos I don't remember Kikuchi in it =/
Well, I have to admit in MIRAI NIKKI I also didn´t like Okada that much either. Still I don´t think he is overrated. he may not be the same class as Kamiki, Kazunari and co, but he is quite good in his own unique way. I very much liked him in TENNEN KOKKEKO and I findly remeber HONOKAA-BOY - a very atmospheric movie. I dind´t watch "Uchuu Kyoudai" , you mentioned here. I haven´t watched too many of his movies/doramas, but the majority I liked!
Confessions = minor role so didn't pay attention Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sagasu = liked Uchuu Kyoudai = really liked Himitsu no Akko-chan = can't remember =/ Hana Kimi = minor role again Idai Naru, Shurarabon = this was a weird film but I enjoyed it and I don't think he annoyed me Mirai Nikki = I loved the drama so perhaps he was a fav in this? I remember him doing good. Seinaru Kaibutsutachi = I actually do not remember this dorama =/ Otomen = At the time of watching it, I loved the dorama but I'd have to rewatch it to understand it from an actor point and a more theoretical stand-point and such. ST Keishichou Kagaku Tokusou-han and ST ~ Aka to Shiro no Sousa File = love both of them and I remember liking his character Legal High 2 = knew his character was gay straight away but that was the only good thing xD
Many of those I havet seen. I´ve watched CONFESSIONS of course, but don´t even remember he was in it. HANA KIMI - but yes, minor role. MIRRAI NIKI - not my favourite dorama. OTOMEN I did watch, but it was not as good as I would have expected. ST and LEGAL HIGH 2 sound interesting, but I bhaven´t watched them yet. As I said I liked the movie HONOAKA-BOY, I really loved GRAVITY CLOWNS (Jyuryoku Pierrot (2009)) (watched it 3 times already), also really loved BEYOND THE MEMORIES (Kiyoku Yawaku (2013)), liked VILLAIN and his first movie A GENTLE BREEZE IN THE VILLAGE (Tennen kokekko 2007). And his best dorama - the recently aired FUBENA BENRIYA! He´s done in fact more great movies than doramas :-)
He played the homeroom teacher in Confessios, if I remember correctly. He was a naive teacher. ST and LEGAL HIGH are amazing! I highly recommend them both!
There isn't much of a synopsis for HONOAKA-BOY... GRAVITY CLOWNS - I don't like Yoshitaka Yuriko but I like Kohinata Fumiyo... trailer looks good but I was expecting it to be dark with a title like that. BEYOND THE MEMORIES - sounds way too sad =/ but I do like most of the actors in it like Aoi and Kengo, Furukawa. But looks like Kengo dies straight away -_- I don't think I could be able to watch a romantic movie with him as the lead again. VILLAIN was already on my 'to watch' list so no need to tell you of my interest in it xD A GENTLE BREEZE IN THE VILLAGE - the trailer makes it look really... boring and slow =/
I haven't gotten around to FUBENA BENRIYA yet, as you know xD
Strangely enough, I've also liked him more since he cut his hair and it's no longer long xD which is odd for me cos I normally quite like long hair on guys D
To make up for my earlier slopiness - here´s is your new chores-list - AND DON´T YOU DARE NOT TO FOLLOW IT (damn, where did I put my horsewhip?).
