Review
First of all... This is a freaking beautiful dorama and just what I needed to watch!
However, there is a bit of stupidity in this dorama:
- Why didn't Ryouta's sister get rid of her child and then there would've been a chance Ryouta could've been saved?!
- Then Minako came back like 'I will be a donor now and I want you back blah blah blah' bitch you had a chance! You can't come back now when they've already got a donor sorted and Kengo and Risa are getting closer! You missed your chance to help and be with Kengo and you ran away!
- And her brother is such a douche! And I never knew whether to trust him or not when he does say nice stuff to his sister. I mean, he can't all be bad but how can you trust him?! He has a sister complex doesn't he?! I've only ever seen the actor (Inagaki Goro) play hateful/awful characters (only other dorama I've seen him in is HUNGRY!), I'd love to see him play a real nice role as he is a good actor. AND AT THE END! OMG what a bastard he could walk?! Wasting her money on his hospital fees!! Even though you KNOW he's gone to do good, still he's wasted precious time and money on fake unmended legs!
- The subs aren't that good. You can tell it's either a non-nature English speaker who's wrote it or someone who seriously skipped their English lessons in the early years of their life.
Then the spoilery, parts I didn't like parts:
Why did Ryouta have to die?!?! *cries* So unfair! Why do the decent people die?! I was convinced he would survive along side Maria, like Minako decided to be a donor and miraculously matches Ryouta! But no *cries*
Anyways, complaints over with >< I did actually really enjoy this dorama and was refreshing and easy to watch and easy to get emotional, especially when such innocence is being taken away *cries*
AWWW it was SO cute seeing Kengo and Risa's and Maria and Ryouta's relationship develop!! xD
The Maria/Ryouta hotel scene was rathe dokidoko or a moment and I loved all of Ryouta's gags and I loved i s much when Maria kissed him and it was all so cute and then... and then... *cries*
When Kengo said 'When did I say I released you' and I immediately thought in a marriage sense and I was like 'awwwwww!!' xD
The bike scene made me cry so hard. It was so beautiful! Been quite a few doramas since I've seen a dorama this good. (Currently watching Jiu, Hunter, MONSTERS which I am not enjoying that much or not at all so this was a great breakthrough for me and a lovely dorama).
The ending was just... perfect. Except it was missing Ryouta! (You can tell who my favourite character was ne? xD)
And the portrait of Ryouta was awesome!
And then the special guests were cool, I especially loved: Fuku-kun at the end in the fish shop (buying for a girl AWWW!) and Daito at the beginning - shame he got screwed over ='[ his character not Daito himself ><
Btw くらげ (kurage) = Jellyfish =]
Screencaptures
Beautiful shot! Someone wrote on jdoramaconfessions that they love whoever did the cinematography for this dorama. Thinking back now, hell yeah the cinematography was so awesome and so beautiful!
Matsuda Shota <3 Everytime I watch you act I am reminded of just how amazing and how attractive you are! ^^
Another beautiful shot!
Cry with happiness moment!!!! And there's blue and red Jellyfish in that tank! Must be the lighting? o_O haha xD
