Synopsis
Mukai is taking on the role of Eisuke, a former bassist of a rock band who gave up his music dreams to carry on the tradition of his family’s French restaurant. The show will involve a love triangle as Kuninaka and Takimoto play rivals for Eisuke’s heart.
Kuninaka has been cast as Eisuke’s older girlfriend Maria, who works at a bank. She is shocked to learn that Mukai has abandoned his music to devote himself to the restaurant, leading her to uncertainty about their relationship. Takimoto’s character is a 20-year-old college student named Chie who comes from a farming family. Although she initially had a bad impression of Eisuke, she begins to develop feelings for him after tasting his cooking.
SMAP’s Inagaki will play Tokio, the owner of a competing French restaurant. In the past, he was fond of the restaurant that Eisuke’s mother ran, but after she passed away, he deceived Eisuke’s father and bought out the restaurant’s chefs and staff. Knowing of Eisuke’s ability as a chef, Tokio views him as a rival.
Eisuke’s friends, who were part of his band ROCKHEAD, are being played by Tsukamoto (guitarist) and Miura (vocalist). Both of them help Eisuke with his restaurant.
Cast/Characters
Mukai Osamu - Another I've seen in loads but not necessarily a fan of him for some reason. But I do enjoy his acting and his character was brilliant, so amusing and quite inspiring. A bit of a baka but tis all good! ^_^
Takimoto Miori - I saw on Tumblr Confessions that someone put that she can't act and she always plays the same type of character. I disagree with the can't act part but I do agree with the same character point. Also her voice is never really that emotional, I'd like to see her in something challenging. Nevertheless, her character was sweet and I felt for her character ^_^ I wanted her to get him in the end though =[ or be with the guy who confessed to her.
Kuninaka Ryoko - Did NOT like her character, she was playing 'the older woman' and she was probably the most immature! Very pretty actress though!
Inagaki Goro - SMAP MEMBER! Except KimuTaku, I haven't seen any of the others act or in interviews or in pictures, except for now with Inagaki in this and then when I watched Fuyu no Sakura. I really enjoyed watching him play this character! His character is a bit of a barstool but tis all amusing. I think he did good, I may watch out for him instead of googling at KimuTaku in interviews and magazine scans from now on to see what he is like really. I imagine he's crazy for some reason haha
Tsukamoto Takashi - Y U MARRIED?! Well I can understand why, slowly been falling for him over the past few times I've seen him act: Runaway, Hungry! and recently I rewatched Battle Royale. I loved his character in this. Very good character and interesting =]
Miura Shohei - Y U ALWAYS PLAY THE SECOND BEST?! Y U NEVER LEAD! WHY?! WHY?! YOU DESERVER IT! Nevertheless his character was brilliant in this and SO sweet and I felt so sorry for his character *sniffles* I did cringe when he went to sing but he's not actually that bad, for some reason I expected him to be o_O GOMEN NE SHOHEI! *cries*
Ishiguro Hideo - Another that's slowly been creeping behind me and been like 'like me.. like me' so I've decided I like him but like Tsukamoto, I won't become a big fan of him, just admire him when onscreen ^_^ Luckily NOT MARRIED! And younger than I thought too! YAY! xD

Review
Short: Really good, enjoyable dorama, ALWAYS made me hungry! haha get it? xDD I am HaraPeko! Let's go to the KITCHEN! << Only people who have seen it will get that xDD O and how the HELL did Tsukamoto's hair grow back SO quickly after RunAway?! I was so shocked! I was like "HE HAS HAIR AGAIN?! SINCE WHEN?!" haha xDD O and one downer, why was the opening just of Mukai? Kinda unfair in my opinion -__- haha

Story: 8/10 - Enjoyable and fun!
Characters: 8/10 - Again enjoyable and fun! Watch out for Ebina Chikako, she so amused me!
Cast: 9/10 - Top cast =]
Music: 9/10 - Nice and nostalgic for me who was brought up with like 60s, 70s 80s, 90s, rock music xDD
