Saturday was one of the best nights ever. It was a tango night, and a modern tango group came from Argentina on a tour, called Otros Aires. And the main singer, Miguel, is one of those men, who isn't really that attractive (well, he is, but in an adorable, sort of way) until he starts singing and playing the guitar on stage, and makes all the women (and men) start squeeing and fangirling. The band kinda reminded me of the marionachi's from the film desperado, i told this to them and they were like 'lol, ye, don't mess with us, 'cos we have guns in our Guitar cases!'
The music was a rock-y kind of tango, i don't know how to dance tango but it was so upbeat that one could dance disco under it. Also, i took lots of photos and videos of the night and gained a major crush on both Miguel, the main singer, and Tomas, Vera's gay brother who happened to be there too.
We partied from 8 until 5am (then the clocks were turned one hour back, so we gained an hour), I spent my time around the band, Tomas, and Vera, since Vera was the owner of the tango club and friends with Otros Aires i got to spend a lot of time with the band (squee!). And not surprisingly, the band was also good at dancing the tango, Miguel was a real womanizer, he danced with nearly all the women there (besides me :( but then again, i'm not a woman, I can't dance tango, and i think i creeped him out due to me hyperactiveness and intense filming/photographing).
Marika took a really crappy picture of me and the band (but i took a great one of her and them), and Vera made Miguel were the 'tango ocho' t-shirt, which made me squee and take a photo, and i also forced them all to sign my CD (lol).
