We Are Scientists/Arctic Monkeys concert

I got back from the concert a few hours ago. I have the WaS CD, but not the AM one yet. But it was still a very cool show, and I can pick up the beat of a song pretty quickly, so even the songs I hadn't heard before were pretty easy to dance to. I started out in like the second row, but I'd forgotten my earplugs and it was too loud, so when We Are Scientists ended their set I moved back to about tenth row. Then after about half of the Arctic Monkeys' set I went over to lean against the left-hand wall, since I had been standing up for the past three hours, and I was near the backstage curtain and noticed who I thought was Keith Murray (the lead guy for We Are Scientists) pass behind me to go behind the curtain leading to the stage, but I wasn't sure, since I only saw the back of him. After the last song ended I saw Keith pass by again, and this time I knew it was him, and I looked at him (he was leaning against the wall) while I was passing by to leave and he smiled and waved at me and I waved back. I decided to hang around for a few minutes and Keith talked to some other people and then he turned to me and said "Hi" and shook my hand, and I said "You guys are good!" which I had to repeat in his ear since he didn't hear it the first time, and he smiled and said "Thank you very much!" and then I left to go meet my brother, who was picking me up.

Okay, so it was only about twenty seconds, but still! I actually met an actual member of an actual band! WooT! I wish I could have gotten a picture or autograph, but I didn't have a camera and didn't think I had anything for him to sign, and when I got home I realized he could have probably signed my ticket stub. Arrgh!

Setlist (for WaS anyway) to come tomorrow. I don't know any of the names of the Arctic Monkeys songs except for "I Bet You Look Good On the Dancefloor," "Dancing Shoes," and "When the Sun Goes Down" (they played all of those).
