I walked to McDonald's for dinner and took some peektures with my cell phone along the way:
This bee was just digging into this thistle as deep as he possibly could. "OH GOD DELICIOUS NECTAR OMF NOMF NOMF"
A closer one. It was kinda difficult to get close without getting poked by a thistle leaf (or possibly stung). BTW, when I came back, he (she?) was still in the thistle, but not moving. I blew on him and his legs went up but I dunno if he was dying or just too fat/full to move.
A shitload of Queen Anne's Lace by the side of the road.

Saw these on the way back and Googled them when I got home. They're blanket flowers.
