Here is the thing...

You know....why is it that negativity is so much easier to post than good? What is with that? I was reading someone's profile on MySpace and realized that I only report about the bad things that happen and that I dwell on them. Where is the positive side that I use to have? Why have I become so pestimistic? *pondering*

So as I thought about my day today...I had a GREAT day! Nothing bad happened! Yea I was disappointed when our new modem for our interent didn't come, but that about sums it up for the bad part.

We all slept in together. It was incredibly nice to actually do that for a change! *feels refreshed, well, tired now* Had breakfast, sighed at the internet flickering and starting working on the new butterfly throw (blanket) that I have been dying to make. Not too long after I started on that, we decided to go to the store to finish the grocery shopping we started a couple of days ago. Luckily we waited long enough that we were not out in the rain! yay!

Got home and started doing odds and ends. Read my Parent Magazine that I recieved in the mail today. And speaking of which...there are a couple things I would like to share. (Kids say the darndest things...let me tell ya):

Support Group
My 3-year old daughter, Juliana, and I were spending the day with my parents. My mother had just bought a new swimsuit, and she wanted to try it on for us. When she walked into the room wearing the suit, Juliana pointed to her grandmother's chest and with a concerned look on her face exclaimed, "Mommy, her boobies are melting!"

Keep on Truckin'
My 4-year old son and I were in line at a fast food restuarant behind a nurse. Suddenly her pager went off, and my son loudly exclaimed, " Watch out, she's backing up!"

In Hot Water
I always warn my 6-year old daughter, Sarah, to stay away from the stove while I cook, but one day she ran over to me and accidentally touched one of the burners. I plunged her blistered hand under running water and later told her I was disappointed in her for disobeying my rule about keeping away from the stove while I cook. A few days later we were waiting in line at a store when a cashier noticed her still wrapped hand and asked us what had happened. Sarah replied, " I disobeyed."

Let me know what you think!

What else would you like to know? I have rearranged more in the apartment! I finally feel incredibly comfortable in our room! I am starting to spend more time in here! I set up all the baby stuff that I found - or could find lol. The carpet is all laid out now. Katelyn LOVES to watch TV in here now and play on our bed. She is so cute! I posted new pictures on my webshots site today!

You should check that out if you want to see how she has grown. I had to delete a lot of the albums that I had on there because I am not a Premium member.

Lately, I have been going onto every webpage that I have or still use. I have way too many and I don't know how in the world people keep up with them! I need to post every site that I have or bookmark them so I can keep them updated...or at least try to. It seems like a full time job just keeping up with all the emails and websites. Sad - lol.

Okie Dokie! That is it for now. I am getting a little sleepy and should think about retiring for the night so that I can get up in the morning with Katelyn. Take it easy all!
