I am....

The proud owner of an IUD. Yep. I had a copper IUD shoved past my cervix today. And it can stay there for 10 years. 10 fucking years! I can't however, use my cup anymore. Which pisses me off. The insertion was painful. Like the worst cramps I have ever had, only it lasted longer. Waves, like cramps. Now it just feels weird. I swear I can feel it in ( Read more... )

The two days after I had bad cramping, like lay your ass on the floor cramping. Activity aggravated it more, and being the dumbass I am I tried to push pass the pain and get my work done. Not wise. I gave up when I started rolling in the dirt in tears. And went on to less active work. The next day, I started my period. There is warning of heavier bleeding and more painful cramping. But the bleeding seems normal. I usually have bad cramps the first two days of my cycle, and the first was no exception. Today I took ibuprofen because I knew I would be at the bakery all day. So I don't know what the cramping would have been without that. It certainly helped before but I waited for the pain to start before I took it the previous days. I think I will really like it, hence why I went through with it. The strings weirded me out the two times I felt them. My friend has a friend who is a prostitute and she had one for 4 months before she took it out. She took it out because she could feel it banging against shit when she had sex. I haven't had sex yet with it. I don't think that is normal...again this chick was a sex worker, so yeah. It is still uncomfortable, but then again when is that area not a little uncomfy during a period? I expect when it is over I shouldn't have any issues. I am hoping. I still have to wait 3 weeks before having unprotected sex because the risk of getting an infection is lower after a little bit. This makes no sense to me but all well, it's what the doc said. And avoiding an infection in my uterus is worth the wait.
