work antics
Simon leaves for Japan tomorrow at 4pm. We said our goodbyes today...it reminded me of the numerous times i've had to say goodbye to my friends who've moved overseas. It was a sad moment but i think i've gotten used to this kinda thing now, so it wasnt too bad. I can sense that he's gonna have a wonderful time writing his book and making it a cartoon...he'll find watever it is he's looking for :) I wish him goodluck and farewell....
In other news, worked in the box office today with Andre. He's such a wise soul :)
Anyway, Mr X was in the box office with us...he was watching Andre and I verse each other at a silly online game. I was winning...and the conversation went like this:
Mr X: "I think Aubrey's cheating!"
Me: "I'm NOT cheating!"
Mr X: (who turned to me, looked me in the eyes and said) "It's bad to cheat. But it's even worse to lie about cheating."
He held my gaze for a few seconds and i looked away. I didnt know wat to say...WTF was i supposed to say to that? I began to think that he was no longer talking about the online game we were playing. But the other game...
He's telling me (indirectly) that he's a good boy and that he wouldnt cheat on his girlfriend, which is a good and bad thing. Good bcoz he has morals...and respect in a relationship. Bad bcoz knowing this makes me want him even more....shit....i'm in trouble.
