Summary: Donna realises something as they sit and watch a new sunrise
It was a quiet planet. No inhabitants, not for a million years, he told her. It was just a bit of rest before they started running again. The Doctor was leaning against a tree and Donna rested her head on his shoulder as the sun began to crest the mountains in the east. There were too few of these moments, and sometimes Donna, who had learned to love the running, wished they had more of them.
She loved him. She didn’t know when she started loving him, sometime after the ood, but before Agatha Christie. That much she could tell. But she could never tell him. Donna knew this couldn’t last. He’d go on, and she’d be gone, one way or another. Besides, who’d want to ruin this moment with a proclamation like that.
