long time, no post
Not sure why I haven't posted much. Well that's not entirely true, I do know why. I got sucked into creating a facebook account so that has taken over my time a little more. I feel like I'm cheating on LJ! hahaha They each have their own advantages, LJ is much better for just writing down what's going on with life. Speaking of which....all the major wedding plans are in place so that's good. Deposits are down on all the major functions and the details are starting to come together, although I'm taking it slow now after the horrible stress of March and April!
Yesterday was Mike and I's 3 year anniversary of dating each other :) Hard to believe it has been 3 years already. We went to a friend's wedding last Saturday. It was the normal kind of wedding and reception and it made me very happy we made the decision we did to do a more unconventional reception. I'm VERY glad we aren't having a sit down dinner and also that we have lots of room for people to move around and mingle. I think it's going to be an AWESOME time! I'm so excited for it, I wish it wasn't so far away.
Through the wedding planning process I've come up with a great business idea. I'm really excited about it and honestly think it could turn into something really big. I need to start researching to make it happen which loams up at me like a huge monster, but I'm determined to do battle. I would be so awesome to have my own business! The brilliance of it is I could start it from home to start with which is key. I really believe it could grow into something really substantial and eventually I could turn over the operations to other people and just enjoy the profit! That's the dream anyways.
Mike and I bought 2 new jet skis (one for him, one for me) a few weeks ago. He had one that was older and we decided it was a good time to get a great deal so we pulled the trigger. We have had a great time with them so far. They are SOOOO much faster than the old one and it is AWESOME to have my own :)
I think those are the major highlights of late. I need to post more regularly.
