Ibsen, Snow and Perving on Scientists
Well we've seen the tiniest smattering of snow...however nothing serious at all yet. I'm wondering if it ever reaches Hull! The drive to Durham this weekend should be muchly interesting. Stephen tells me that the snow has hardened to ice. Lovely...no heels of any type this weekend then ;)
Considering how annoyed I was with my Tuesdays I was surprised at how much work I seem to be getting done. It is a blessing in disguise as I have already read 'A Doll's House' two days in advance of a seminar! Shock horror! Since when does Steph ever do work before she really, really has to??? Now she does...these damn long four hours stretches makes sure of that. It's not all that bad anyway...I can sit in a sound proof study room eating my granary rolls and perving over the Chemistry students in the opposite block. Mmmm scientists. Mmm labcoats.
Stephen wants me to try his one on someday. I might just do that. I might even take pictures ;)
Socially, I'm having a fairly quiet week and it feels good to be spending some time alone. My extrovert nature really does struggle with my introvert. I am both happy with people and I am happy alone. This week has involved a lot of thinking...good and bad. But I feel refreshed for the better :)
