Pre-drink warning
Righty, I am off up the pub later on with Em so *fingers crossed* I won't make any embarrassing posts!!
I am limiting myself to vodka and diet coke this evening. Best to stay to one drink in my most recent experience (being rather ill...etc). Plus it really cuts back on the sugar. And I will not mix beer and wine tonight guys.... will I? God help us all!
I watched 'Cabaret' on DVD earlier and I must say I totally love it. I mean, I really love musicals anyways, but this one has so much spunk. It covers some pretty ground-breaking subjects for the time...plus it's ultra sexy ;) Aaah to be tall and have legs like hers!
Further to the microwave issue...Amy was round earlier and asked to borrow some tinfoil...it had fallen behind the microwave and to save dragging the suspicious box out I muttered 'oops I was wrong..I never had any at all!'. LOL...sinful, sinful!
I wrote a poem for the first time in ages yesterday and I might post it later. I was pretty happy with how it turned out...at least, I feel tweaking it for hours like usual would ruin the flow. Total poetry count stands at around 207 pieces now...from which I could pick about 80 ones that are any decent standard. Still, it's a start - especially if I plan on pursuing getting published. I want to experiment with prose a little more too...sometimes the words come out easier that way. We shall see :) I got a little of my inspiration back woohoo!!
This was a pretty random post. Just to say I had a fairly O.K day...getting used to this new timetable. Tomorrow should be fine, as I'm still in the same seminar group for drama. I love Sarah-Jane. She has something about her which makes you fear for your life if you don't do the work she sets. So when I do it, I feel quite accomplished because I've actually done something!! Plus, she likes me and apparently has no worries over me passing this year which is good.
O.K food, then get dressed then drunkeness. Oh the life of a student! How totally cliche!
