Looking through my planner I see that most all of my assignments for this semester are in the second half, after the two week break. So the plan is to organise a sort of schedule now, so it doesn't all pile up. Best laid plans of mice and men, etc., but you never know - I might actually stick to it this time.

Was supposed to have read Ceremony, by Leslie Marmon Silko by tomorrow, but I haven't actually been able to get a copy of the book.

Went to WOMADelaide yesterday, which was pretty amazing. Highlight was definitely seeing Asha Boshle with the Kronos Quartet. She's a Bollywood singer who's been singing since 1943 and she was absolutely amazing, as were the Kronos Quartet who make me want to pick up my violin again.

Fantastic weekend, the festival has such a lovely atmosphere and no matter what, you will always find some mind blowing music.

I can't wait for the coming months since most of my friends have birthdays during this time. And that means gift wrapping! It's becoming an obsession. I'm upset I don't have anything to wrap at the moment.

Oooh, and while browsing Flickr (which I can't use now for some bizarre reason) I found this woman who makes amazing cupcakes! YUM!
