Collection Confusion: Jungle Emperor

Several years ago, when I was in Japan, I bought this:

It’s the first of two bunkoban volumes of Jungle Emperor (ジャングル大帝 Jungle Taitei), a.k.a. Jungle Emperor Leo, a.k.a. Kimba the White Lion. This series was originally serialised from 1950 to 1954, and is one of the more famous works by Osamu Tezuka, the “God of Manga”. I’ve sadly still read practically none of Tezuka’s vast legacy of manga, but I bought this at the time so that I could make a start by reading one series that interested me in particular.

Recently I decided to get the other volume. It’s a two-volume set, so I figured, if I get volume 2, that’s the complete series. Right?

Things are never that simple. ( Fake cut )
