Rocky Road?
Gadamn i forgot how good and INSANE The goonies is. It makes you realize that movies today are getting dumbed down and "paint by numbers" cos people WAY over annalise/nit pick everything in movies today.
In current movies, they gotta explain every tiny detail because they KNOW people will always bring up "Well at 1:23:09 they did this but at 1:44:00 they said that." Ugh,ya wonder why hollywood plays to the masses as if we're idiots, its shit like that.
In the Goonies theirs all this pre established backstory behind all the characters that bears little to no exposition, they just jump right in to this adventure. even the sub plot about their neighborhood being bought out to expand a golf course is REALLY in the background. The kids act like real kids, swearing whenever theirs no adults around, all babbling at once and tryin to out talk each other. The most recent movie i've seen lately where the kids actually kinda act like real kids is Zathura.
I know i've said this before but people take movies WAY to fuckin seriously today. What happened to just going along with it cos its a fun movie?
