Another week till Christmas
Good news: I nearly have all my Christmas shopping done.
Bad news: We're doing a Christmas play for the kids. I'm an elf. Incidentally, I'm the tallest staff member in the school. X.x I guess I could pass myself off as a Tolkien elf, if worst came to worst.
Christmastime always gets me thinking. Sometimes about really weird things. Such as...
1. What the HELL is wrong with the person who wrote "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer"? Seriously, that song is so fucked up. Funny, yes, but in a 'OMG someone actually wrote that???' kind of way. Or if you really just don't like your grandmother.
2.The real reason Heather Mills divorced Paul McCartney. No, it's not money, it's "Simply Having A Wonderful Christmastime". No, really! I couldn't sleep with someone who wrote something as craptastic as that, could you?
3. "The Twelve Dogs of Christmas", however, will never get old. Ever.
It's so damp and chilly out...blech. The chill has even seeped into the house. Not quite sure how that happens, really.
