I'm back!
I'm back from Maui. It was a great trip - the beaches and scenery were phenomenal. Same goes for the food. All the delicious Thai, Vietnamese, and other ethnic cuisine was a welcome change from the meat-and-potatoes theme of Missoula.
However...If ever I get pregnant again, remind me NOT to go on any excursions that require six-hour plane rides at the end of the second trimester. On the way there, I had such bad gas that I thought I might explode. On the return red-eye, I didn't sleep a wink because my back was killing me. I couldn't get comfortable. I think I'm a pretty tough person, but not while I'm pregnant. I'm actually kind of a wimp.
The baby, meanwhile, was going strong. He kicked me for 2/3 of the way home (fine for the most part, except that he landed a pretty good wallop to my bladder region just as the plane was taking off).
