Last night, the renowned general, Spring, and the ruling tyrant queen, Winter, fought a cataclysmic battle over the sky. Though Winter put up a valiant stand, Spring was able to deliver a fatal blow, shattering Winter into trillions of tiny shards.

The general shall be commencing her provisional leadership of the airy throne immediately, in preparation for her exiled son, Summer. Her first duty will be to dispose of the scattered corpse of Winter, making use of the remains to fuel the formation of the coming era. In the Dynasty of the Flower, Spring will celebrate her victory by breathing life into the buds and shoots she has been preparing during the last throes of Winter's reign. Spring has been eager to gift our senses with brilliant explosions of colour and perfume, rewarding us for our patience with the tyranny of Winter. A symphony of birdsong has also been arranged for the occasion.

There is no word yet as to when Summer will return to his stolen throne. Experts anticipate it could take up to four months for Spring complete preparations for his arrival. There are rumors that the Emperor is quite hot over his deposition, and that his coming reign might be heavily influenced by his anger.
