I've said it before, but it hits me every single week - this show gets SO much better on rewatching. This was a gorgeous episode, and actually very well acted and crafted and edited and balanced. And while the Hiro/Ando/India storyline still strains my credulity past its limits, it's almost made up for by how beautiful James Kyson Lee is. So it's all good.
Sylar/Luke? God DAMN. The pairing; it is intense. Rewatching their scenes brought a wealth of additional detail, some of which I straight-up missed the first time around. And God, Quinto is beautiful. He just really is.
And the more I watch Nathan, the more I feel that he's just NOT a bad guy. He's doing some patently awful things, but... Is it just the power of the Pasdar? Why do I feel so sympathetic toward him? I don't like what he's doing, but I love him more and more. Some of his responses, though, give me concern. On the other hand, both his moral anchors, Peter and Angela, have deserted him. Now it's obvious that he doesn't know what else to do but be a ruthless hard-ass. Still - fun to watch. (And do I need to mention "beautiful"? Nah, I didn't think so.)
Looking forward to tonight...
