ah, well, another not-weekend

Dec 28, 2008 21:51

I had a fun Xmas eve and Xmas morning, but the morning lasted until I got home at like 5PM and that didn't leave much time, or brain, for writing the pro-fic chapter. So I had to do it this weekend, like always - which meant that I didn't have time for my original plan - which is...

The SEASON THREE REWATCH.

I might as well try, y'know? (I definitely need to do so before the hiatus ends.) Maybe starting tomorrow night (if I'm not running all over town to hell and gone, trying to buy a used laptop so that I can, er. y'know. watch webisodes without having to go to work to do it). I can probably knock out four episodes tomorrow night - and then that's the last free time I have until... God knows when. Drink date with my longtime pal Tuesday; Wednesday night there's something about 2008 being over; Thursday it's pro-fic all day and all night. Friday work, then home and writing more pro fic. Ideally done Friday. Then watching Buffy season 4 with another friend over the weekend. DAMMIT. I want to watch Heroes instead. But what can I do? I've got to sleep sometime.

I'd like to write another Ritual quickie tomorrow night, too, but unless I can rock it at work tomorrow (unlikely) it's going to have to wait until next Monday.

This "lack of time" delights not me. I want to have fun with my brothers, and my Eric Doyle, and my Sylar, and my Brundle-Mohinder, and my Evil Parents, and Noah and Meredith and Sandra awkwardness. I want to enjoy Hiro and Ando. I want to experience Greg Grunberg's talents in a non-Twitter format. I WANT TO WATCH MY BELOVED SHOW. I miss it - and I miss interacting with the fic community.

By the way, send me some fic recs, please - I am obviously out of touch. I can maybe track those down at work tomorrow, and at least have fun vicariously for a couple of bus rides.
