walk of shame... metaphorically speaking
Man, I really fudged the canonical timeline with Ritual.
I suppose I shouldn't worry about it - and it'd be nice to just write into the future with all the dates correct - but it would alter the storyline somewhat. This is why I hesitate to write fanfic for a living property; if I get really into it, when I find out that I was wrong about something, I never quite know what to do.
Writing the fic I'm working on now, it's... yeah. It'd be nice if I could use correct continuity, but it does kind of violate what I've already written. Hmmmm. As it is, I am speculating wildly, and Ritual 40 is going to be one of those stories that defines the term "Jossed".
