Thanks to the crushing obligations of the holiday season, I am forced to take a bit of time off writing, or at least finishing and posting Ritual until after the beginning of '08. I'm hoping, over the holidays, to sit down and read through all the chapters of your fic that I've missed! ;D

What kind of fic do yo like to read? I might have a rec or two.

What do I like to read?... well, mostly the emphasis is on "well-written". But I'll take "filthy".

I love love love the dark slash, obviously... I am an infrequent reader of my favorite comms mature_heroes, flyingpetrellis and petrellicest, and theyreitalian is fantastic... There's just so much fic and I don't have time to comb through all of it for the really quality stories (though I can generally just go through my favorite authors' posts from the last six months ( ... )

Hmmm...I'm not sure what I can recommend. How do you feel about Mylar? There's an author I recently discovered (I'm always late to the party) who writes fantastic Mylar, and maybe other pairs (I can't recall). ladywilde80. How 'bout an Elle fic? I Sing the Body is really good. Not filthy enough, though, probably. You've read Nascent and Wanted, yes?

You know, I'm really lacking on filthy recs. Sorry 'bout that.

I love Mylar, when it's good. And oftentimes, it is. And there's JUST SO MUCH OF IT.

And thanks for the Elle fic recs - I'm absolutely fascinated with her character. I seriously am considering writing some porny "in-show" fics about her, Peter, and Adam (guest starring Bob of course!)... but trying to divorce my brain from the Ritual 'verse is harder than you might imagine.

I'm certainly using my days off to catch up on fic I haven't been reading. I'm like three behind in the Ritual-verse. Yikes!

I'm not sure if I have any intelligent Petrellicest recommendations from around here, except to say that there's been a lot of good stuff going on over at theyreitalian. I do have an off-LJ rec: The Tenth Muse has a variety of slash and femslash that ranges from the mocha latte variety of dark to the double espresso type of dark. Her Heroes page is here, but one Petrellicest story I like in particular is called Gloves, and it's a porny little one-shot with just a dash of sadist!Nathan.

I certainly think so!

The intro of the next story has been conceived - now I will poke away at it with what limited time I have over the next few days. If everything works out, there might be a new story by New Year's Day! Or maybe even... before!

i'm afraid I couldn't tell you - I read so many stories, and only the ones that I do actually want to hang onto go into memories... and so far, no stories with Adam have ever gotten there.

On the other hand I don't really read THAT much stuff (not enough time; most of my fandom hours go into writing)... so if you have recs, please line them up.
