Thank you - I'm glad you liked it, and I'm sad that I'm now putting it down, too. But I'm running out of new ways to tell this story, which means that I need to write something else. I'm still madly in love with it, though; it's been such a huge part of my life for the better part of a year. I'd rather end it while it's still at least sort of good.

Phew! What a nice wrap up of Ritual. This series has been so much fun (and so much HOTNESS) that I'm sad to see it end, but there's always the chance inspiration will strike in the future...

Some favorite parts:

His wide eyes gazed at Nathan with that same blindingly intense, obsessively adoring expression that was all Peter's, his trademark since he was a small child, that look that terrified and exhilarated Nathan, knowing that he was its focus. "I'll be good." Aw, Peter baby.

The big ass banter made me giggle.

"I wish I could fuck you every day, too," Peter said. "I'm not gonna hurt you. I'm not doing this to hurt you. I'm not angry at you. I don't want to punish you. You love me, and that's so good." I love it when Peter explains himself during sex. He's just so damn... empathic!

The cameo from Future!Peter was a nice way to sum up the chapter and the series. Bravo!

Thank you! And I do hope that inspiration strikes me, too - I am completely addicted to writing this. Uggggh, going through withdrawal already...

I love it when Peter explains himself during sex.
Oh, yeah, that's a part that I've always liked, too - Peter being the god-king of talking dirty, and Nathan love-love-loves it. It's all about his emotional openness, and he can make Nathan explain himself and be honest, too - at least, some of the time.

The cameo from Future!Peter was a nice way to sum up the chapter and the series. Bravo!
Thanks - and yeah, as soon as I was reminded of the Blackout again, I thought "Wouldn't it be a trip if a future Peter had done that - on purpose?"

Aww, this is the last Ritual? It's been a great ride.

I loved the easy camaraderie in this chapter. It's completely natural for one brother to spend the night with the other during a state-wide blackout. *nods* And it gives them the chance to spend some quality time together.

That was nice of Peter to go back in time to create that day for them.

... at the cost of several BILLION dollars. Oh well! ^_^ Yes, this is one of the Ritual stories where they are actually fairly nice to each other, and comfortable with each other. I have written a lot of those recently, maybe to comfort myself because of how the show has been going. I hate them being apart; I hate Angela in danger. In this story, Future Pete looking at 2003 Peter and Nathan = me, looking back sadly and nostalgically at season 1. How young and naive we were then!

I think this was a great ending to the series. The blackout was a nice little plot concept, the sex was a good mix of fun, sexy and angsty (Peter couldn't come inside Nathan). I've enjoyed this whole series and if you think it's time to take a break from it then I can't wait to see what you come up with next:)

Waaaaah, I can't believe it's all over already. :'-( I'm so glad I stumbled over this story by accident, you've given me many sweet hours of blissful reading. This last chapter is lovely, as well (despite the bitterness of being last), and I especially liked the twist of having the whole blackout orchestrated by Future Peter. Sweet!
